Project Role : Deployment Lead Project Role Description : Plan and lead the execution of a comprehensive deployment plan, including work planning, scheduling, budgeting, metrics, training, pilots, and resources. Collaborate with all project teams to manage interdependencies, ensure alignment between all deployment-related activities, and monitor & control progress through the deployment plan. Must have skills : Mainframe Application Performance Optimization Good to have skills : Database Management, Database Activity Monitoring Minimum 12 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Deployment Lead, a typical day involves orchestrating the detailed execution of a deployment plan that encompasses work planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. The role requires close collaboration with various project teams to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of deployment activities. Monitoring progress, controlling deviations, and facilitating training and pilot programs are integral parts of the daily routine. This position demands proactive management of interdependencies and continuous communication to drive the deployment process toward successful completion while maintaining overall project coherence and efficiency. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Lead the development and continuous improvement of deployment strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to support professional growth and project success. - Coordinate risk management activities related to deployment to anticipate and mitigate potential issues. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Mainframe Application Performance Optimization. - Good To Have Skills: Database Management, Database Activity Monitoring. - Strong analytical skills to assess and optimize application performance on mainframe systems. - Experience in performance tuning, capacity planning, and resource management for large-scale mainframe environments. - Ability to interpret complex system metrics and translate them into actionable deployment improvements. - Familiarity with tools and techniques for monitoring and diagnosing mainframe application performance issues.
