ABOUT THE ROLE This is a hands-on founding growth role at an early-stage fintech company building AI-enabled financial services for business owners. You will own customer acquisition and qualification, working directly with the founder to turn conversations with founders and business owners into client relationships. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Build and operate customer acquisition across outbound, automation, events, gifting, partnerships, referrals, paid channels, and PR. - Convert the company's media reach among founders and business owners into qualified conversations and signed mandates. - Map prospective business sellers and buyers, their needs, decision-makers, and effective ways to reach them. - Run rapid growth experiments, measure results, and turn successful approaches into repeatable programs. - Help determine which customer segments to prioritize and how to earn prospective clients' attention. - Partner with the founder, who leads owner calls, advisory, and deal closing. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Demonstrated personal success acquiring founders, small and midsize businesses, or business-owner customers through channels such as outbound, automation, events, gifting, partnerships, or referrals. - Experience as an early growth hire at a fast-growing startup, or equivalent evidence of winning business-owner customers. - A hands-on approach to building campaigns, writing outreach sequences, and setting up automation directly. - Strong creative judgment and a practical understanding of customer acquisition cost, conversion funnels, and retention. - Finance, M&A, or banking experience is not required.
