Senior AI Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE Join a fast-moving engineering team at a seed-stage AI productivity software company. You will work on two core challenges: building scalable backend systems and improving the reliability and efficiency of the AI agent flows that power the product. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Design, build, and maintain backend systems and services that can operate at scale. - Optimize and iterate on large language model integrations and AI agent orchestration. - Improve the reliability and efficiency of AI-powered product workflows. - Take ownership of technical work and ship software that supports platform performance and user experience. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Typically 8 to 10 or more years of relevant experience, with a substantial hands-on record of coding and shipping software. - Strong backend engineering experience building scalable systems. - Practical experience optimizing LLM integrations and AI agent flows in production. - A portfolio of side projects demonstrating technical depth and sustained curiosity. - Startup experience is preferred, particularly in a fast-growing environment, along with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to engineering craft. - Willingness and legal eligibility to work on-site in Stockholm, including relocation if needed. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Compensation is $80,000 to $120,000 USD annually, plus equity. The compensation mix may be negotiable. Visa sponsorship is not available. LOCATION On-site in Stockholm, Sweden.
