End Date Friday 30 October 2026 We Support Flexible Working – Click here for more information on flexible working options Flexible Working Options Hybrid Working Job Description Summary Role Title: Senior Software Engineer Location: Hyderabad Role Type: Hybrid In this role, you will be working on the development of middleware applications and API interfaces that integrate seamlessly with vendor‑built products, while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features. You will write clean, scalable, and efficient code, troubleshoot and resolve issues to enhance performance, and contribute actively across all phases of the development lifecycle. Job Description Key Responsibilities - Oversee the end-to-end implementation of vendor products, manage version upgrades, and maintain development and test infrastructures. - Customize using the vendor's SDK to meet bank requirements. - Design and implement middleware or APIs to facilitate seamless integration and communication between third-party vendor products and internally developed applications, as well as any associated upstream or downstream systems. - Modernise legacy platforms to cloud-based solutions. - Support technical, functional, system, and UAT testing; manage defects and patches. - Develop comprehensive documentation, deliver user training sessions, and ensure continuous support and effective troubleshooting for production-related issues. - Build and manage CI/CD pipelines. - Provide first-line technical support for software applications, assisting users in resolving issues. - Identify, analyse, and resolve application issues, collaborating with development teams to fix bugs and improve application performance. - Continuously monitor application performance and health, conducting root cause analysis for recurring issues. - Perform regular updates and maintenance tasks to ensure the applications operates efficiently and securely Skills & Qualifications - Prior experience working on customisation and configuration of vendor products. - Experienced in Java/J2EE applications with a solid grasp of OOP concepts and automation design patterns. - Experience with custom utility tools for screen tailoring and fragmentation of the applications. - Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). - Working knowledge of Git and other Dev ops tools. - Strong communication, problem‑solving skills, and ability to work in agile teams.
